The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an official notification on 7 June 2017 about the examination of National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) 2017.
This year around 390 posts will be filled through this exam: 335 for the National Defence Academy (208 for the Indian Army, 72 for the Indian Air Force, 55 for the Indian Navy) and 55 posts for the Indian Naval Academy.
NDA 2017 Exam Pattern:
- Mathematics (01): Time – 2.5 hours, total marks – 300
- General Ability Test (02): Time – 2.5 hours, total marks – 600
- Total: 900
- SSB test/interview: 900
Question Paper Type: Objective multiple choice
Age Criteria: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02nd January, 1999 and not later than 1st January, 2002 are eligible.
The registration for NDA-II 2017 has been started from 7th June 2017 and will be available until the 30th June 2017. Aspirants are required to check eligibility conditions and instructions before applying for the exam, exclusively through the website upsconline.nic.in.

NDA Application Form 2017 will be filled online in two parts of registration. Here are the steps which you need to follow to apply for the exam:
Part 1: Registration: Fill your personal details, Educational Qualification, and Address details in this part.
Part 2: Registration: Upload your recent photograph and signature’s scanned copy and pay the application fee using debit card/ credit card or ATM and print your application form in this part.
Candidates who complete the application process on time will be issued an admit card three weeks before the exam.
