National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET 2018) is a medical and dental entrance exam for the courses such as MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) for both private and government medical colleges. Honorable Supreme Court instructed CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) to replace all medical exams such as AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) with a common examination that is NEET in 2017.

CBSE has confirmed that candidates who are willing to take admissions in Medical and Dental courses can fill the NEET Application Form 2018 through online mode from the end of 2017. No other form will be available for students seeking to pursue the medical courses from 2017 except the NEET.

- Step 1: Fill the Application Form and note down the Registration Number.
- Step 2: Upload your latest photo and signature.
- Step 3: Pay the Fee by Debit Card/Credit Card or Net Banking.
- Step 4: Print Confirmation Page.
NEET Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality: Indian or Overseas Citizen of India
Age Limit: Minimum 17 Years (For all categories), Maximum 25 Years (for non-reserved category), Maximum 20 Years (for reserved categories)
Qualification: Class 12th with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Percentage: 50% (for non-reserved category), 45% (for physically handicapped), 40% (for other reserved categories)
Seat Reservation: 15% (for SC), 7.5% (for ST), 27% (for OBC), and 3% (for PH)
NEET Application Fee:
General/ OBC Category: Rs. 1400 (without late fee), Rs. 2800 (with late fee)
SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 750 (without late fee), Rs 2150 (with late fee)
NEET Exam Pattern:
Mode of Exam: Offline mode only
Duration: 3 Hours
Marking Scheme: +4 (for correct answers), -1 (for incorrect answers)
